Green Foods Spokesperson Set To Climb Mt. McKinley
To Call Attention To Plight Of Missing Children

PR Newswire -- March 25, 2002

ANCHORAGE, Alaska, March 25 /PRNewswire/ --
Green Foods Corporation announced today that its spokesperson will climb the tallest mountain in North America to focus attention on the plight of missing children in America.

"I want to do this for missing children, even it means risking my life to save theirs," said Dr. Ginger Southall, an athlete who participates in triathlons when she's not making personal appearances for Green Foods and other health products. Known as "Dr. Ginger," she once ran the health spa at Mar-A-Lago in Palm Beach, Florida, owned by another daring do-Donald Trump.

Concerned for her safety, Green Foods issued a statement saying, "We neither asked nor encouraged our spokesperson to go on such a dangerous expedition as Climb For America's Children to promote our natural food supplement, Green Magma." The 23-day climb is scheduled to begin in June.

"In fact, we tried to talk her out of it," said Dennis Hoth of Green Foods, "but she's determined to do this. So the least we can do is supply her with all the natural green fortifying supplement she'll need to climb Mt. McKinley, known locally as Denali, the native Alaskan word for 'The High One.'"

Denali rises 18,000 feet above its surrounding plain, compared to Kilimanjaro (14,000 ft.) and Everest (13,000 ft.) Its arctic environment carries extreme conditions with temperatures even in summer averaging 20 to 40 degrees below zero during the day.

The extreme sporting event seeks to call attention to the 3,000 children reported missing every day in America, according to FBI statistics. Many national leaders have at least praised its intentions including President Bush, Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, Alaska Gov. Tony Knowls and Congressman Mark Foley, Co-Founder of the Congressional Missing and Exploited Children's Caucus. The event benefits A Child is Missing, based in Florida.

According to Dr. Ginger, "This demanding experience can only be enjoyed if one is prepared. Physical fitness is one of the major demands of mountaineering that we can take control of ourselves by eating properly, taking supplements and working out to develop aerobic power and physical strength."

Dr. Ginger says she works out daily, participates in sports, rides her bicycle as often as possible and, of course, takes Green Magma every morning for nutrition and energy.
