Calling all writers to think green!

Hey, did you know "Green Dog" was the hit float in this
year's Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade? (Have you seen this dog
with the green circle around one eye?) Well, one of our
sponsors, Green Foods, is inviting freelance writers to "think
green." They want to reinforce that just as the unsuccessful
New York City mayoral candidate said in his recent concession
speech: "It's not easy being Green." Well, that's especially
true in the morning. It's always been organge for orange
juice. Or white for milk. Or black for coffee. Well, Green Foods, the
world's leading maker of natural supplements made from
nutritious green barley, will slap some green on the writer
who can write most convincingly why green is the first color
that should come to mind each morning for good nutrition.
Submissions of 750 word maximum will be examined by editors
wearing bright green eye shades. Can be humorous or serious
health reporting. For the winning piece, writer will receive
$100 plus a year's supply of Green Magma® for himself or
herself, plus a year's supply of Barley
Dog® or Barley Cat® for the writer's pet.
